From the North: The Autostrada del Sole (A1) via Florence to Orvieto, and on the national roads 71 and 74 via San Lorenzo Nuovo to Sorano. Or along the coast on the Via Aurelia (national road 1) via Grosseto to Albinia, and on the national road 74 via Manciano and Pitigliano to Sorano. As a guide: the distance from Frankfurt / Main is around 1,200 km. From Rome: The Rome-Civitavecchia highway, on the Via Aurelia to Montalto di Castro, and via Canino, Valentano, Casone and La Rotta to Sorano. Or on the Via Cassia to Vetralla, and via Tuscania, Piansano, Valentano, Casone and La Rotta to Sorano. The distance Rome - Sorano is about 150 km, the driving time is around two hours.
